Blackaby is the solo project of Londoner William Blackaby, who has just dropped the new folk pop EP Everything's Delicious. Our favourite from the EP has to be the stripped back 'Lee', a song that may also be Blackaby's favourite, seeing as he told the NME that it's his best song and explained, "The lyrics and chords fell into place quickly and the recording (in the bedroom of my friend Paddy) captured the song really nicely". 'Lee' has an organic folky sound, centred around acoustic guitar plucks and the distinctly weighted vocals of Blackaby. The drums and bass just join in on the chorus, where backing vocals harmonise on the lush melody. The DIY-style music video is filmed in Crystal Palace park among the strange fake dinosaurs.
